Storage and stability:
- The testing kit can be stored at 4-30°C in dark and dry place for 18 months. Do not freeze the kit.
- The testing cassette should be used within 15 minutes after taking out from the foil packaging.
Warnings and Precautions:
- For in vitro diagnostic use only.
- Do not use the testing kit after the expiration date.
- Do not mix components from different lots of kits.
- Use only the swab provided for the collection of sample. Other swabs may not work properly.
- Extraction buffer is slightly caustic. Avoid contact with eyes, sensitive mucous membranes, cuts, abrasions, etc. If the reagent comes in contact with skin or eyes, flush with a large volume of water.
- Wear disposable gloves while handling the testing kit or the specimen and thoroughly wash hands afterwards.
- All specimens should be handled properly as they are capable of transmitting disease. Read the established precautions against microbiological hazards throughout all procedures and follow the standard procedures for proper disposal of the specimen and the testing cassette.
- The testing cassette should remain in its sealed foil packaging before use.
